West Essex CCG is looking for a patient-centred approach to care delivery that is user friendly and culturally sensitive and encompasses national and local public health targets. We are also looking for providers who are delivering Primary Medical Services to a high standard and can run Nazeing Valley Health Centre as a branch surgery. In addition, providers will need to demonstrate a willingness to deliver a number of key design principles e.g. improving access and promoting prevention and self-care, as part of core service delivery.
The full scope of the service can be found in the draft service specification available at https://in-tendhost.co.uk/scwcsu/aspx/Home. The deadline for responses is the 5th March 2018 at midday.
The provider will need to deliver the full range of primary medical services from the branch surgery from 1st June 2018. Following responses to stakeholder engagement the Commissioner will contract for the Services using; either the NHS General Medical Services (GMS); or the NHS Personal Medical Services (PMS); or the NHS Alternative Provider Medical Services (APMS) contract. The contract period for an APMS contract will be an initial 3 years with the option to extend by up to a further 2 years.
