Description

Support Worcestershire County Council with their Local Transport Plan

The way people travel is influenced by factors such as proximity to services, trip purpose, and the quality of digital and transport infrastructure. Therefore, Local Transport Plan 5 will need to deliver an agreed vision and a set of objectives and outcomes that will be focused on a number of core themes that includes sustainability, inclusion and safety whilst reflecting local community themes. The new Local Transport Plan (LTP5) will need to focus transport investment across the county over the defined period, and how we will work with partners to contribute to achieving our economic, environmental and social ambitions. A set of objectives and draft action plans will need to be determined and agreed around a set of key themes such as: • Support a thriving and prosperous economy • Enable healthy behaviours and improve wellbeing • Reduce carbon emissions • Improve accessibility and inclusivity • Improve transport safety and security • Integration of transport modes
