Description
This is a prior information notice intended to gather early interest for the services set out in the document attached below. It is not a commitment to any future course of action by the Department or a guarantee of any future procurement activity.
Our vision for children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) is the same as for all children and young people - that they achieve well in their early years, at school and in college; they find employment; lead happy, fulfilled lives; and experience choice and control.
The Department for Education (DfE) is responsible for supporting improvement in local authorities with regards to the provision of SEND services. This is done in part through drawing down external expertise to support local authorities.
There are two types of adviser role covered by this notice, Senior Financial Advisers and Financial Advisers. Details of both roles are set out in full in the document attached below.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Further details on the procurement approach and timing will be shared in due course. Our current expectation is that these services will be procured via a bespoke lot of the new Educational and Children's Social Care Professionals Framework.
Any procurement activity will be conducted via the Jaggaer e-procurement system and you will need to register on Jaggaer to be able to apply for any activity related to this notice.
