Description

The SMF is used to transfer material to the AHF facility. It must be purged with nitrogen (N2) prior to export from the AHF to protect the SMF internals. The gas supply is provided from standard transportable gas bottles. Specification Outline This specification defines the manufacturing and delivery requirements for the principal pipework panels for performing the N2 purge of the SMF. This document has been produced with reference to the client design requirement specification and the functional specification. A completed design ready for manufacture has been developed in accordance with this specification. Following the detail design it is considered unnecessary for any further design except that necessary by the fabricator for manufacture.
