Description
NHS Derby and Derbyshire Integrated Care Board (referred to as the Commissioner) are inviting suitably qualified and experienced providers to express their interest in delivering an Advice and Guidance service to health care professionals across Joined Up Care Derbyshire ICS.
The aim of the service is to facilitate advice and guidance on the management of patients in Derbyshire from secondary care consultants at our secondary care Trusts Chesterfield Royal Hospital NHS Foundation Trust (CRH) and University Hospitals of Derby and Burton NHS Foundation Trust (UHDB) across a range of specialties. Where the local consultants are not available this will need to be supported by the provision of NHS consultants based within the UK. The advice and guidance will provide health care professionals with continued access to specialist clinical advice, enabling a patient's care to be managed in the most appropriate setting, strengthening shared decision making and avoiding unnecessary outpatient activity
The process is a one stage open process.
The contract will be for a period of 2 years with the option to extend for up to a further year, commencing 1st April 2024. The current contract is due to expire at the end of March 2024 to enable the procurement process to be completed.
The annual contract value is £275,000 inclusive of VAT (£550,000 for the initial 2-year term with an option to extend for a further year totalling £825,000 over the 3 year term). Please note there is a financial threshold associated with this procurement. Any bids exceeding £275,000 per annum will be excluded from evaluation and disqualified from the process. No bids over £275,000 will be accepted.
