Description
The Authority seeks suitably qualified suppliers to tender for a Facilities Management Services provision.
The overarching aim of the Service is to manage, co-ordinate and deliver a consistent, timely and high-quality soft facilities management service for the Authority and its patients and will consist of the following service lines:
General Management
Helpdesk Management / Reception Services
Patient Catering
Healthcare Cleaning and Pest Control
Portering and Postal Services
Security (Manned Guarding)
The Authority is looking to appoint a single Preferred Supplier to manage all aspects of the Service. As such, a Lotting Strategy is deemed inappropriate as it risks creation of unnecessary fragmentation and complexity. Accordingly, the service will be offered as a single contract awarded to a single Preferred Supplier.
The aggregate value of the contract (including extensions) as advertised in the Contracts Finder and Find a Tender Service (FTS) for the full 10 years of provision (7 core years plus 3 options years) is £346,146,770 British Pound Sterling.
The contract to be entered into by the Authority and the Preferred Supplier for the procurement will be based on the NHS Terms and Conditions for the Provision of Services.
The core contract term is from 01st October 2025 - 30th September 2032, with the option to extend for a maximum of 36 months. This stated optional extension period is in no way guaranteed, and activation of such extension will be at the sole discretion of the Authority based on fundamental principles, including the performance of the supplier and results of any service evaluations undertaken..
Please Note: Any expenditure, work or effort undertaken by you in relation to any procurement activity is a matter solely for your own commercial judgment. The Authority reserves the right to withdraw from the process at any time or to not tender the service(s) or to tender on a different basis. In such circumstances, and in any event, the Authority and/or its advisors shall not be liable for any costs or loss of expenses whatsoever incurred by any organisation, agent or subsidiary that may have contributed to any proposals submitted to this notice.
Any and all information/documents are draft and subject to change. Under no circumstances should providers approach the Authority directly in relation to the service
