Description
The Access Team is responsible for Blaenau Gwent County Borough Council’s (“the Council”) countryside access and Public Rights of Way Network. This year, one of our main priorities is the promotion of walking in the rural areas of the borough. With our partners, we are working to encourage more people to discover the unique heritage and natural landscape of Blaenau Gwent on foot, while taking advantage of local hospitality and welcoming places to stay along the way. A key part of our project is the development and marketing of a series new promoted walks which will showcase Blaenau Gwent’s finest landscape, heritage and local character alongside the refreshing of publications in relation to existing promoted routes within the borough. The Council is inviting proposals to develop the brand identity for the project and create a range of resources and interpretative materials which promote our walking offer (“the Services”).
