Description
Medway Council Public Health team are seeking a provider of point of care testing (POCT) devices to GP surgeries who are engaged with the NHS Health Check programme in Medway. The proposed solution must include: ⢠54 POCT devices to be supplied to GP Practices (number includes branch sites) ⢠Devices to provide total cholesterol (TC) and TC/HLD ratio readings, as a minimum ⢠Initial distribution/delivery of devices within agreed timescales ⢠Initial delivery to include the required consumables for at least 20 tests ⢠Initial training on use of the device to be provided to practice staff within agreed timescales ⢠Provision of manufacturer's instructions for use and guidance on maintaining the machine ⢠On-going technical support for the duration of the contract ⢠On-going training support for the duration of the contract ⢠Clear process for accessing technical and training support (e.g. service desk, telephone number, email address) ⢠Processes for re-ordering of consumables ⢠Internal quality control checks, to include a minimum of a daily 'go, no go' test ⢠IQC record keeping/log sheets provided ⢠All 54 devices to be registered with an External Quality Assurance Scheme Out of Scope ⢠Blood glucose/ HbA1c testing ⢠Record keeping
