Description
Medway Council invites applicants to tender for the provision of replacement of a Management Information System (MIS) for Medway Adult Education (MAE). Medway Adult Education have used the AQUA MIS, based on Education & Skills Funding Agency (ESFA) funding rules and regulations, for the past 20 years.
As the incumbent provider is no longer able to supply the software, the current contract will terminate on 31st March 2019, and the Council is therefore looking to procure a replacement system in order to manage our provision and to produce funding claims from 1st April 2019. The replacement software is expected to be written to conform with all ESFA funding requirements, to produce funding claims, and to record data regarding learners, courses and staff.
The proposed contract period for this service will be 3 years with a provision to extend for a further two years on a 1 + 1 basis (3 years +1 +1 = 5 years), unless otherwise terminated in line with the conditions of contract. Any extension will be taken with mutual agreement and only after satisfactory performance against Key Performance Indicators. Please note that all our current opportunities are advertised through the Kent Business Portal, to register and gain access to the necessary documents including expression of interest please go to: (www.kentbusinessportal.org.uk)
